Hi all, I was wondering if you guys could give me an idea what my bike may be worth in part exchange. I am looking to trade it in towards a bike of a little less than £2000.

It is a 2001 naked Bandit, 24000 miles, tax and mot through until May. Consumables are all good, some history and generally clean and well maintained. I realise that it depends on a fair few things but a ball park guess would be great.

Thanks.

Are you taking the piss? I'll sell you my 03 super sports in that case, £4k.

£1600 private for a Bandit on a 2001 plate? My daily lulz has been fulfilled.

£1000. I spent £1150 on a mint YZF600R on a 99 plate. That is far nicer than a Blandit.

I'm gonna come flog my bikes near you.

The YZF600R is just your bog standard 100ish HP Thundercat. Infinitely more comfortable than a Bandit, has a wedge more power, looks the business and isn't going to rape you on insurance.

Choice of that or a Bandit, I know what most people would choose for a similar price.

I'm round your way, and I got a K2 gsxr6, very tidy, within 20 miles for less than £1600 a few months ago.

There is a faired bandit in my local dealer on a W plate (2000) for £2200 Very low mileage though with top box

Seems to me that though faired and unfaired bikes a similar prices to buy new (only 3-400 quid difference) when they get to 7-8 years old the faired ones always hold thier price better
