Does anyone here have any mood lighting in their bedroom? For example blue LED lights or something of the sort.
Thinking of getting some for around the tv and bed. But when searching they are all for cars or other things which use dc.
Anyone know where i can get some with a mains plug?

Lol not that kind of thing. I mean blue LED strip lights around the tv, or just in one corner of the room.

If you have a TV in your bedroom then you have already ruined your chances of getting any from the missus and no mood lighting will help. Laughing

Unless of course it only plays porn, then get a few red lights Mr. Green

Use the 12v vehicle ones and then just tuck a battery away behind/ under a piece of furniture?

A small 12v motorbike battery will last forever with a few LED's attached to it. Could be considerably cheaper than the mains alternatives, apart from Xmas lights which are pretty cheap really.

edit: or get something like this to power the LED's with

gives off a nice redddish glow

pro tip though

As I understand it, blue light signals to the brain to be up and about and is a disaster for trying to create sleep.

Mood lighting? Fuck that. Would eat into the "i want a window shatteringly loud exhaust" fund.

Keep a handful of tealight candles round the room for when you want her to think you're being all romantic and shit. Bonus points for finding scented ones in poundland in packs of 12. You still get laid, gain points for creativity & it dont break the bank!

Nah, just wanted to pimp my room a bit.
Its a fairly modern looking room hence the idea of LED strips
