Why anyone would buy one over a Hornet or Street Triple is beyond me, but I'm sure they're fine. ____________________ Triumph Daytona 675 track bike + girlfriend's Honda Hornet 600

Looked at a GSR myself,
It does seem a slightly odd bike tbh. It does everything the bandit already did - seating position etc is all much the same. I'd be inclined to do the research & compare insurance with the bandit, as the parts/spares are more readily availible. The bandits also easier to sell as is one of the popular first bigguns too. However, its a detuned GSXR engine in em - so might be a bit more lively than the bandit. I'm not a big fan of the headlight, but each to their own. Also have a look at the hornet 600 & CBF600.
Regarding the clutch, for approx £20 you can get an EZ-pull which makes the clutch a bit lighter, so dont write a bike off cause of that.
What it comes down to is personal preferance - if you like it and you're sure its the one for you, then go for it ____________________ Please be aware that the above post may be full of complete nonsense.

The GSR is a fun bike. GSXR600 ( think its a K4) engine, light and nimble.
Feels nicer than a hornet of the same era. Not very popular due to the styling, but i do like the back end on them.
The Z750 is another one to look at. Although im not sure if the seat might be a tad high for you. I'm 6'4 and mine feels quite high. ____________________ Suzuki GT250 x7------- Fazer 600------CB250RS------Aprilia Rally 70----- Bandit 600

If you're finding little fingers are getting caught in the levers (like I did), consider changing the standard levers for a set of 'shorties' like these. (I personally use ASV ones so would recommend them).
I have weeny hands too and was finding my little finger was getting trapped (something both my examiner and instructor picked up on) and was warned it might cause trouble. Shorty levers are really meant to be used with like 2 fingers for them normal sized folks, but I can use 4 fingers easily and keep my little finger safely tucked on the grip without worry it will get trapped behind a lever as the lever isn't long enough to cover/trap it.
The bikes you're looking at are generally good choices. But if the GSR is the one that FEELS right, chances are that's the one for you I sat on EVERYTHING when I was looking for my big bike. It wasn't until I tried my XJ that I instantly felt 'right'. Just like Goldilocks! ____________________ 'Just erotic. Nothing kinky. It's the difference between using a feather and using a chicken.'
