When in the city I see a red light in the distance I pull the clutch in and coast to a stop to save petrol but recently I have been feeling a lot of vibration the the foot pegs when doing so, what could it be?

A motorbike Laughing

Start by looking at tyre tread, all depends on what type of vibration, it could be anything.

Edit: Footpeg vibration is usually engine related though, have a look at engine mounts

It can't be the tyres they are new and I noticed it before I replaced them, I don't know where the engine mounts are on the cg and not a clue what they would look like if the were wrong

Find the big silvery thing under the fuel tank (more commonly called an engine Wink ) then look for places where it touches the frame. At these points it should be bolted (engine mounts) they may be loose if it's a newish machine - but shouldn't be! Very Happy

If you switch the engine off and coast does it still happen?

1. Coasting dosent really save fuel

2. You have a CG 125, why do you need to save fuel!

3. I'd also look at the wheel bearings and chain, perhaps when you are riding the vibrations of the engine mask clunky bearings/poorly maintained drive chain.
