... need to go to have about 2mm taken off my front brake disc?
It's hardened steel or something or other aren't they? So doing it at home isn't an option.
Basically the disc is too big so want about 2mm ground off the edge so that it'll fit proper.
Not sure what type of place to take it to do this? Presume it'll be cheap to do? ____________________ Current Toys: 06 Yamaha WR250F | Nissan 350Z GT | Tech 4 Homes |

Can the disc crack then if it has a mm or 2 taken off the edge?
I'm on about the small thin bit, not the sides.. say if you're looking down on the disc whilst fitted to the bike, that edge there, hard to expliain but it wouldn't make the disc any thinner on the edges, just in overall width?
I'm confused? ____________________ Current Toys: 06 Yamaha WR250F | Nissan 350Z GT | Tech 4 Homes |

Any place with a big enough lathe should be able to do it for you, probably cost you a fiver / tenner if you find a friendly engineer.
Search for small engineering businesses in your local area and phone around. ____________________ 3516 Miles, 11 Countries |
