£240 is below minimum wage unless you are <21 or something.

That is probably before tax...

I can't view your link, how many hours is it? Does it pay more than you are currently getting once travel costs are covered?

I may go along after all then if I am guaranteed the national minimum the text does say "basic" plus commission.

'Basic' can be below NMW as it is then topped up by commission earn on the minimum sign-ups that you must achieve per week

or it used to be the case.

From what you've shown it looks like there is a trial period, part of the point of that is for the employer to decide that you're the right person for the job, they don't realise it's also for you to decide if you want it.

might as well do it for a couple of weeks if all it does is pay fuel for you to get there and afford for you to get some new tyres on your bike so you can continue your job search.

I've just applied for pizza hut bike delivery - look out for a thread asking how to de-restrict whatever bike I'm given!

That is no longer the case, they must pay NMW from the start.

However, it doesn't say whether he will be "employed" or "self-employed" as a lot of these people trying and pull the fast one on.

37.5 hours is full time.

240/37.5 = £6.40
NMW = £6.19

But, once you've been taxed you end up with less than minimum wage anyway. Which is a good point as i'm only getting like £211 a week and i'm on 7.67 and doing 37.5 a week

I was basing that on a 40 hour week which is pretty standard for most people I thought.

It is...but we don't get paid for lunch breaks Laughing
9-5 5 days a week 40h is standard otherwise, but they have to give you a lunch break
Else add 5 hours to my week Thumbs Down

If you worked for 35 hours in the civil service, it would be classed as a miracle.
