Hey guys,

So wanna say thanks for the previous advice. Carbs cleaned out, fork seals changed. My NSR started with the first kick when it was an unusually cold morning today.

Question So, i need some more help. Something recently has come up where i feel when im driving down hill or have wait on the front end i feel a slight (very mild) knocking in the front end. This isnt always the case.

Question Along with this, i noticed yesterday after not driving it for a week or so that it is veering to one side. You cant let go of the bars without the bike veering to one side. Can you guys give me some options of what this could be?

Again, i am living in Thailand so all the help i can get would be appreciated as their is often a language barrier between me and the mechanics. If i can go with a diagnosis that works better.

Hope ur all well. Cheers in advanced

Check wheel alignment for riding straight on the rear wheel.

Knocking could be that the brake caliper is knocking against the rivets on the disc. Also check wheel bearings for play

The rear wheel! I would not have thought about this. I have recently had a new tyre fitted on the rear wheel.

Question Also... in the lower end of the gears (1st and 2nd) they are very clunky when Revs are low. A few guys have said this is serious. What could the options be for clunking at the bottom end of the gears?

Possible worn gear cogs, major engine strip down if it's the case. Also check tge chain tension. Should be some slack but not loose.

Maybe try an oil change and see what comes out?
That can give you a good idea if something is eating itself to pieces.
A strong magnet can be extremely useful with this!

Awesome! Cheers guys.

Also... a question regarding fuel.

Here in Thailand they have stopped supplying 91 Benzine. They currently have gasahol 91 and 95 along with 95 Benzine in some places.

My questions are would the 95 Benzine be ok for my NSR and if not, would you reccomend the gasahol 95 or 91 if I was to use one of these? I understand this is not healthy for a bike like mine but am just wondering.
