Doesn't matter what everyone thinks if you like it - you're the one that has to ride it!

For the record - I think it looks really good Thumbs Up

Very underated bike is the Ace. I had one a few years back and although they look quite bulky, they are light and handle really well. The R6 rear you have fitted looks miles better and looks as though it was like that from the factory unlike some rear end changeovers! Well done.

Thanks lads picked it up today and really pleased will sort out more pics for Sunday night , off to a party in London and hoping to pop over to the ace cafe Sunday morning, went to Tinklers in Norwich on the bike today a local Yamaha dealers and got some great feedback and have a couple of small niggles to sort , I'm really pleaded with the look of the bike and its a strange feeling as you put the saw down and have a big heap of parts that you have just cut off! Looking for a small expansion tank that can be tucked near the rad any ideas would be great
Cheers!

I must say... I do like it.

Which is a bit odd considering I thought it would look monumentally shite!

Got any photos from the front left and right aiming down the bike? So front to rear shots from near the headlight. It is just its quite tubby at the front. Thumbs Up

I'm not a fan of sports bikes, but the R6 rear end does look a lot cleaner, and unlike a lot of other attempts posted on here, looks like it belongs.

I think it looks great and the mods make it look so much lighter than a normal Ace too. It definately needs some continuation of the graphics onto the tail piece to finish it off, but great work and a cracking real world sports machine! Thumbs Up

p.s. Any chance of telling us what the mechanical spec of the bike is, and what chassis, suspension, brake& engine mods have been done if any?
