My brother doesn't "nod" anything under 400 or so CC.

I usually nod to everyone on a motorcycle and people riding a scooter with a motorcycle jacket on (Tells me they're more interested in progressing further, and not just a pedboy).

I personally ride a 125cc though so I have no right to be self-righteous ;p

I do however follow people on L plates for a while then pull up beside them at traffic lights, flip up the front of my lid and ask them:

'So, how do you think you did?'

'Wuh?'

'I'm afraid you failed to perform a satifactory lifesaver at the mini roundabout, forgot to cancel your turn signal on two seperate roads, changed lanes without indicating and I suspect you were speeding at one point although I can't prove it. You also keep a poor road position in general. I'm sorry but on this occasion, it's a fail'.

I then slam down lid, dump clutch and accelerate away on the back wheel.

to a black delivery boy on a 125, a brief nod

to a sports bike rider a nod but never a wave. Im afraid he may try and wave back and fall over more forward and break his chin

to a female biker I take both hands off the bars for a finger in hole salute

to a cruiser rider I avoid any eye contact in case he thinks Im queer. And i avoid any such kind of wave
