Suzuki Goose 350

1992 K-Reg
15,000 miles i think?, 21,000k/m
Japanise Yoshimura carbon fibre race can (sounds damn sweet Thumbs Up)
Carbon Firbre single seat conversion
Mph converter on the speedo
Just been serviced, and has 11 months mot and 11 months tax!
Superb original condition, has a few scratches on the rear of the pillion hump on one side. But in all seriousness you wont find a better goose, its mint.

Starts 1st time everytime, runs superbly, ever so smooth but quick.

Ideal 1st test pass bike as its under 33bhp and you dont have to worry about restricting it.

Bike is in Gillingham in Dorset.

1395 ONO or will swap for and enduro/greenlaner

Think the price is a little high.
Mine was owned by ropehead from the forumand had alot more to it although higer milege and that was £1400...

just to give you some range on price.

Nice bikes wouldnt mind another to play with but not got the cash.

Having never ridden a goose i have no idea about them, what is the top end like as with the pull away/0-60 and can you wheelie it?
Do they handle well on bends?
Being unfaired/half faired whatever it is, does the wind really knock you? or does it feel stable?

How do they do on fuel and how are they for taking pillion?

How do they sound?

I am very interested, as i think they are great looking bikes and have heard a lot of them.

It would also be my first test passed bike.

Well top end i've seen my goose hit 115ish going down a slight hill, but it was redlining so it was time to let it off even though it felt it waned more Wink on a straight on an average day tho, its 90 - 100 depending on how much you can be arsed to tuck in on top of the petrol tank

Pulling away, i haven't actually counted or found out myself but its damn quick, your at 60 before you know it.

Handling is probably the best thing about the bike, absolutely brilliant! This is the 1st bike i've learnt on how to get my knee down, or close Wink even with its naked cafe racer look, with no fairings its still fine in the wind. I haven't ever felt unsafe, and today was WINDY!

Fuel is excellent, but most 4 strokes are anyway Wink

not really else much to say apart from i love mine, and its such a good bike to have as a 1st test past,

1) its looks people adore and are always asking you what the fudge it is!

2) the sound! it sounds a much bigger cc than 350, i'm always getting looks for that too! especially with my yoshimura race can which has the baffle taken out by the last owner Wink its not obscene noise, its just nice and grunty Wink

cant really say much else, rather than get one !

hope this has helped,

alex

I managed to crack 117mph top end on the Goose.
Sound people know from the zorstec system i had it was somethig special.

Handling was superb. Even with one fork seal blown i could still knee down the bike with thinking.
60 was fairly nippy to get to getting there in second gear.

I've only ever ridden unfaired bikes really so cant comment. they all feel the same. Brakes where excellent, handling excellent.

Bit quicker than 125 2 strokes. with bags more torque. Could quite happily pull of in 6th without stupid amounts of clutch slip...
(roughly 3000rpm untill you reach 30mph from standstill then the clutch was out fully)

In winter i got 80mpg. in smmer i got 50mpg but nailed the thing everywhere.

//Edit...

It does wheelie ask Mike and shaun they've seen me do it Very Happy

Looks very nice, love that blue. Thumbs Up I'm pretty much just hoping to do my test and get a winter hack but if this was March-ish it might've been a different story. Confused

Good luck selling it, no doubt it looks like an excellent buy for someone.
