Nice one! But my other accounts took care of that (rating it as "helpful" - insightful also).

For the OP @ eduardorebelo

Head nodding thread half way down the first page of General Chat. He also got marked as redundant but there is some head nodding conversation in there.

I nod to all 2 wheelers because we all share the same risks and joys. If I see a particularly sexy bike, I give it a quick salute.

The forum plainly needs a nodding section.

As with many things in life; if you're giving with the expectation of receiving back, it's probably best not to give at all.

for goodness sake, we're just people who've chosen the same form of transport not a secret society.

You don't see commuters on trains nodding at another train as it passes.

I have fairly wide chicken strips, been riding badly for a while without realising

did a 250 mile round trip yesterday in the dryish and started leaning in corners again instead of leaning the bike but keeping me upright

felt so much better!

Personally I greet other bikers by standing on my pegs and bowing.

the police officer in the van in front of me that I did not see due to looking down while bowing wasn't impressed.

course my Japanese ancestry teaching me that it's polite to bow and rude not to.

The train drivers probably acknowledge each other though, and that's a closer analogy
