OK,
My CBR 125 keeps choking, misfiring then dying.

I can turn the bike over, i will start to smell petrol then the exhaust will just bang.
If it does idle, a small twist of the throttle will just kill the engine.
Lastly if it does idle and then you get it revving up, you can drive it but it will cough up when you put load on the engine (twist the throttle).

I think it's the carb that needs cleaning or the spark plug that needs cleaning?

I'll check the plug, and filter.

For the price of a single plug, I'd be tempted to chuck a new plug in.

Give the carb a few taps with a rubber mallet or something similar, it could just be a stuck float, if that dont work take it off and apart and give it a proper check and clean.

Got if fixed today. It was a faulty ht lead coming off the coil causing misfire.

Thanks for all the help guys, i ended up sticking a new spark plug in there as well for good measure.
