Indeed, the fella who jumped on her had no idea what he was doing when he took off (it's a very nippy 125, off road with a new back tyre as well) and by the state of the bike he must've hurt himself pretty bad. Good cbr Wink

More evidence that gun restrictions protect only criminals and harm only good honest people.

Yeah, unfortunately they cost a fortune. It's why I decided not to replace the broken panels on my old CBR125.

Too right Ridah Mad , thanks

Expensive as they are J.M, if it wasn't for them my engine and rad would be totally mashed up a long with my handle bars and frame. The headlights were not even broken, just snapped of the front bracket (which needed replacing anyway!)

But onto the story eh? It started the day after the incident, I went back to where it all happened (a lake, with an absolutely massive, bushy green land) early in the morning and went on a search until it got dark because something was telling me deep down she's around. I went around every bush, tree, house, lake, estate you name it within a 10 mile radius and yes, I found nothing. I did the same the next day (last day of glorious sunshine before the rain hit) I went out again early in the morning but this time armed with a very recent picture of here (right side) to every petrol station, garage, scrap heap etc and asked to keep an eye out, again within a 10 mile radius. It's now the end of the day and I'm on my way home with my legs absolutely shattered (they still are now) and just as I'm approaching where the incident happened, I see a police car just sitting there and so my brain is like "WAT, NO...NO WAY EET CAN'T BE" and yes, my brain was right...as I got past some tress blocking the rest of the view, there I see my baby repsol standing all in a plasticy, wire mess and so I run up to them all like "THAT'S MY BIKE GMOFGMFOGFMOWjrw89yrahw" yata yata, show them the picture I had, told them who I was etc and turns out it was found that very morning by some litter pickers.....and guess where? Just 20ft away from where it all happened, right in the middle of the biggest bush, you'd ever seen.

So, yeah....TA DA Razz

Really HATE thieves, especially bike thieves and especially ones to lazy to learn how to hot wire. I bet he didn't even know how to use the firearm he was holding probably wasn't loaded/cocked and if it was he was probably stupid enough to have the safety off and his finger on the trigger and in which case you would be lucky to be alive even if he didn't want to kill you! why do these people exist Sad was trying to think of a way to stop this thing from happening but theres not really any practical ways of doing it, the best I could come up with is a directly mounted electric detonated concussion grenade on the handle bars with remote detonator, but it's not really practical how ever it would work wonders haha Smile - Sorry this happen to you in the first place Sad

Thanks J.M, I put A LOT of time, money and effort into this little but giving bike and if anything or anyone of such importance goes missing, you can damn well count on it that I will look for 'em no matter what Smile (I also get attached quite quickly) Laughing

Tbh mumbles before I began my biking endeavours, I was thinking what to do if this situation ever occurred and was thinking of getting some bullet/stab proof body armour (Just OCD, paranoid me Rolling Eyes ) as for the gun, looked genuine enough as the tip was worn away as if it'd been fired before and it was an inch barrel 6 shot revolver by the looks of it Laughing but I've seen one of these bikes saved by a 99p Chinese alarm from ebay Shocked

That's brilliant news. With all that dedicated searching you deserve to find it Thumbs Up

Hopefully the Police will take it away for forensics and maybe get some prints or DNA from it to link it to the thieves. With any luck the thieves will already have been run over by a bus Laughing
