Honda LSR

Hey guys i'm new to the forum, and i was wondering if any of you guys out there had any information on the Honda LSR 125cc bike. I found this site

selling them dirt cheap and insurance for a 17 (me) worked out to £236.82 i couldn't find another bike to rival that ever lol. But the site doesn't have much info on the bike and i can't find any anywhere.

They are tiny. Thats all i know. Make NSR's look huge.

i was considering one of these, brand new for £2595 and 3 years 0% finance. 25bhp did sound marvellous at the time. problem is though, almost impossible to get spares and they're made in thailand i think, so a big on reliability.
personally it was too risky for me and i got as new gs125 (test in 13.5 hours!). maybe you should consider something safer, like the nsr. faster as well.

not as fast as the nsr?! these bikes are faster, simply because, they have the same engine, but are alot smaller/lighter and have thiner tyres. i have a friend who owns one and the only trouble with it is parts :/

if the engine is the same as the NSR spares are no problem there and l,m guessing other parts might be common with other honda,s if your buying new its very unlikey anything big will pack up especially on a honda in the first few years

Do you mean the CBR is the same size in engine or chassis, i'm tall but i hate trial bikes (which people keep recomending). Speed isn't a huge issue but it's just so cheap lol

I asume LS is the same as LSR125, just confusion over the name of such a rare bike.

Contact the "Rikka" bloke from bike pics. He posted on 125ccSP along time ago. He loves his LS and had photos of it next to other bikes.

Kickstart that didn't really help lol, you mean both are the same?

I tried to get hold of Ricka but no e-mail of anything is availible for him on that site. Thanks for your help again guys I might invest in one of these.

Could anyone offer advice on transporting a bike a large distance, I might buy a couple of these, should i just rent a van? Any specific gear I need.
