Good video and very informative to watch. Lots of points such as helmet coming off, bikers doing stupid overtakes, cars being blind, these can all help us as bikers know what to look for! Accidents can happen to anyone, even the most careful of people, but riding defensively goes a long way to help against them!

I quite agree - just ignore the stupid risks some bikers were taking!

I have to say there were lots of examples of braking in corners which threw bikers off the road - something I worry about if I can't see round the corner and I'm canning it.

Oh, and it's like you develop Jedi powers of foresight when it comes to car drivers changing direction!

Very good compilation. That's pretty much all the advice about what not to do and what to be careful of crammed in to one video.

In a sort of good way, it eases my mind slightly when I see that many of the crashes were the biker's fault. Then I can reason that 'I'd never do that!' and therefore won't have a crash like that...

I was quite amazed at how many people were overtaking on junctions and just speeding through crossings as if there wasn't one there. And lots of filtering crashes too...

I agree most were the rider's fault (Out of the 10 mins that I watched).

Makes me wonder whether some riders try and shift the blame onto the car using the whole "SMIDSY" thing when really they were probably at fault.

A nice cheery video... Thanks for that Rolling Eyes

Wow.

Some people totally suck at riding motorcycles!

Over an hour of crashes at about 2 per minute and nearly every one due to rider error.

EDIT: That said. lmost all of them got back up uninjured, even in minimal safety gear so overall, it's quite representative.

I haven't actually watched it all myself yet, interesting points though stinkwheel Thumbs Up

Maybe though they just haven't added the ones with lots of death and guts in because of youtube guidelines haha.

Cheers

Thumbs Up

I love how the first thing that happens is the rider gets up - works out where the hell he is and then runs to check his bike- assuming it isn't obliterated into hundreds of pieces by this point.

Nearly all of them were due to the rider going too fast.

Basically, Russian drivers are wank. Russian bikers are wank too. Don't drive in Russia. If you ride like a cunt and all your wearing is a vest, shorts and no lid, expect to get very sore.
