Guys who have daughters who tend to fall asleep on the bike on long rides !!! Who have picked up almost a full set of points for speeding within the last 4 months and who would like to be able to do a tour round Europe without getting severe back pain and having to stop every 180 miles ?

Will still keep the other Honda VF for playing out on !

Its the need for wet suits, and a set of regulators, a 12 year olds wardrobe, comfy shoes for walking in somewhere she can put her leathers ..etc etc .... Or do a shed load of mods to the blackbird that will cost about £1500........

The old VF1000's are a nice classic that it would be mad to sell and let someone else let it appreciate over the next few years. So I'd keep the VF 100%

But though i can see your justification for the Pan, could you really do that to yourself after owning a Blackbird? They are still a lovely mile muncher and have the rapid turbine like drive that you'd surely miss. I also reckon you should keep the Blackbird and give it to your daughter for her 18th! Would probably make you the coolest dad ever then! Thumbs Up

As for the Pan's well though they look a bit boring and to enclosed and heavy to be fun, you'd be amazed how many advanced riding instructors swear by them, and also how many of them can run rings around a rider in the twisties with a new Blade or R1 etc.
