My Akita gloves were cheaper than that and gave me protection at 40mph chucking a bike up the road well twice once off the VF and once of mates Hayabusa hardly a mark on them

I have a pair of Akita winter gloves, found them in the garage, must of been my dads. Fairly happy with them but too bulky and thick for warmer riding

I have these for summer riding

worse them constantly except in the heaviest rain. The vents work well and they are a comfy fit length wise for my gangly fingers in the XL size

My Dainese Scout winter gloves did me well all last year ( still got occasionally wet hands Sad ).
If this year's anything like the last few I wouldn't bother getting summer gloves - in fact if it's anything like the previous ones I may be tempted to buy a large supply of marigolds

I've got a set of RST Slice gloves for summer, they're comfy and not too hot, but they're nearly worn out and only had them a year (that said I have been caught in torrential storms in them for hours, I love summer touring Laughing )

Summer gloves, £5 a pair from the bargain bin at Biker's World Coleshill. I carry three identical pairs, the most crashed in pair are wearing thin and will fail scrutiny soon.

This. Worn then all year round and fine down to 4C, then my hands start to get cold. Can't get on with winter gloves, not enough feel.

I wouldn't really spend more than say £30, unless there is something of a particular style that you are really interested by. Avoid anything with too much gimmicky stuff on it.
