04 R6 Slip On Exhaust & Fuelling

I seem to keep running into differing opinions on this one...

I'm soon to collect an as-new 04MY R6 and I'm looking at swapping the standard can for a nice carbon one.

With most bikes, the fuel injection sorts out the fuelling with just a can change (assuming the rest of the system is standard), however I'm reading a lot about this model R6 running very lean out of the factory and that swapping cans requires a Power Commander or similar to sort the fuelling.

Anyone know the actual answer on this one?

Put it on, forget about it.

I'm not fussed at all by changing my end can from stock to Devil with no mods in addition to this.
