I know there's a few Pi owners on here. If like me you own a Pi for no good reason then here's a few projects that may whet your appetite...

The arcade game coffee table looks quite sexy, shame I haven't got space for one.

Good find daemonoid, I think my two boys and I are going to have a go at making one of those coffee table arcade games - seems like a really good project for a dad and two boys - one is six, the other is seven, so should be good fun.

Been toying with getting one of these and a 7" touchscreen and sticking in the car as a media centre for the car.

Why not just buy a cheap second hand tablet?

They aren't really that powerful, I'd much rather mount a motorola xoom or nexus in the car.

If it's just media your after then there are other, better, options. But the pi can control things so could be fun. Also, few PCs or tablets could fit in such tiny spaces as the Pi. Bluetooth ignition could be interesting!

Spose I could. wanted to mount it in dash, trouble with a tablet is access to sd card and audio output to go into stereo.

Had mine since last year and its still stuck in it's box. Was going to use it as a media server but bought a cheap mkv streamer instead.
