getting close to getting my CG back on the road. an as im waiting for oil seals from davidsilvers, thought i would attack my center stand

it already has a side stand but i prefer centers (plus makes it easier working on it)

got the stand, spring an C plate thingy for the spring

probably took about 30mins to fit....springs are ridiculously hard to stretch

not exactly a big job but one that needed doing that was good to get finished

anyone else been tinkering?

Aye, I finally got around to fixing a small water leak that's been bugging me for a couple of months. Turned out to be a perished O ring, love it when it's simples

Luckily not for me. Since the rear sprocket carrier bearing collapsed I stripped the whole rear down 2 months ago. Since then nothing "touch wood" has gone wrong. Apart from the usual chain adjustments, etc.

Fitted a fly screen. Only two bolts left over afterwards so I count it as a win Smile

Yeah, I've been trying to find enough bits in my boxes of RXS crap to keep the old fossil going a bit longer. This morning I've been listening to assorted odd noises, and wondering how many more holes one exhaust can have in it can still qualify as a component, rather than just rust.

It's that time of year when we foolishly believe nice weather is just round the corner...when in fact it's going to rain for six months almost nonstop.

Bleed the brakes

Recently just found out my darling is likely to be terminal...

Needs the fork stanchions re-chroming as the seals that got fitted a month ago have blown already. That's likely to cost me a bomb.

Second gear skips, so I need the full engine apart. While the whole thing's apart I may as well do cam chain and head-gasket and stuff... Again, likely to cost me more than i'd like.

It's money that I just don't want to throw into her since she's already sucked my balance dry on previous occasions.
