Please guys, no knee down tricks on our runs. We've had 26 years of good publicity & good press reports (unlike Sid after LAST years pet food run which also stuck the boot in for us a little as well as WE got the flack & people pointed at us) so lets not spoil it.

Wearing dresses & silly costumes or santa suits are fine but please no tricks. Our Marshals are fully briefed to stop any stunts or silly tricks & if they don't they will report you to one of the police officers.

The fact you've gone out on your bike to attend in the middle of winter is more than enough for most people, but if you feel the need to do something memorable then theres allways that halloween costume you never got to use! Twisted Evil

I lasted a week last time, I was only late for work once, unlike mike who didn't go college yesterday. Razz

I also lived off various take aways but I enjoyed doing that, left less mess, I cooked breakfast thought but I never gave myself food poisining.

Well it was a good run but 2 things struck me as a bit well, crap. As most people on the run do I strayed onto the wrong side of the road at times, what I didn't expect was for a car to come hurtling towards me well above the speed limit, I managed to get on the white line and avoid being killed but it could of so easily been a different story. I also wasn't impressed to see an R1 that had been pulled over half way through the run to be handed a £30 fine for his loud exhaust, I thought this run was for charity not for the police to use it as a quick source of income. Rolling Eyes

On the whole the run was good but those 2 things are a litt bit off putting, will the police be scrutineering our bikes next year only to get let past with several fines to get wiped out by a car. Confused
