right ive got too collect two bikes from london, Wembley to be precise however its a 2.5 Volkswagen diesel shitter that doesn't mean emission rules i don't really fancy paying the £100 to pop just into the barrier for an hour and then too leave anyway around it? £100 for one hour is a joke. Thumbs Down

Are the bikes rideable at all? Park up outside the congestion zone, tube in, ride a bike out and load it, rinse, repeat.

Rent a van from b&q for an hour or two? Way cheaper than £100.

https://www.diy.com/diy/jsp/bq/templates/content_lookup.jsp?content=/content/support/services/van_hire/index.jsp&noCookies=false

£14 per hour.

Get a registered legal bike number plate.

Get plates in car size from ebay, drive to edge of London charge zone, change plates, pick up bikes, change plates on exit.

How so? Drive your van to the closest b&q to the emissions zone (judging by your profile I'm guessing slough b&q is the best) then rent a van an £14 per hour, pick up both bikes and bring back to your van, job jobbed.

I may be wrong but I think fuel is actually covered in that £14 too so for 2 hours you will pay £28 flat.

This, you're a trader. Why don't you just build your costs into the bike when you sell it?

oooohhh fuck yes there are cameras! I used to work for Crapita when they ran the contract for the low emission zone and the congestion charge zone too. the tiny bit in central London had over 800 alone, before they expanded it.

try and borrow a van that meets the LEZ compliance bullshit.

or... as they only look at the images of contravening vehicles "borrow" the numberplates of one that does Whistle

is the low emissions zone like the congestion charge zone, only applies within set hours?

if so are you able to go outside of those hours?

yeap LEZ is all day ever day ever hour infact if your in there from 00:00 monday and dont leave till 00:01 tuesday you have to pay for two days which can cost £400 in bigger vans trucks ect

its totally ridicules...as for putting the cost into the bike....if you do that all the time you dont make any profit and they comments about being a 'professional trader' crawl into a cave
