Hello Everyone!

and here it is.....

So my first impressions are......

Blimey its loud (In a good way!)
Feels nice and stable
quick but not too quick, can still ride comfortably at my pace (all within the legal limits, im not a fast rider)

the only issue....

Wind! jesus h christ it felt like the wind was going to decapitate me at times, made my head vibrate! Im looking at changing the screen to one that would be good for me

Cheers

Jordan

Try taking the screen off and going for a ride. I have found with all bikes less is quieter. Thumbs Up

That's does not look like the original screen, get hold of a MRA tall screen, made my v-Strom not far from perfect.

Box load of goodies arrived today!

Givi top case, mounting bracket and my lovely new screen all in a box...... Sat there until my Strom is back from the dealers, turns out it has the dreaded "Chudder" and is being fixed as we speak, still, they gave me his to use until its fixed! (Might be a while, parts from another country coming in!)

Brand spanking new! Nice, but weirdly quiet and efficient. Like its electric or something.

Had no preference between the 2 and the 1000's are cheaper mostly.

Plus I tend to have a heart rules head buying procedure and I saw this one and thought it was awesome!

Today I have achieved much spannering glory, I picked the bike Ho having bad it's clutch basket repair done all nice and free. Rides like a new bike! So glad to be on it after that Yamaha thing.

The givi box, rack and screen where all fitted by my own fair hands today like so...

https://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b164/randomjord/C1C9F86B-0F8B-4405-817A-7617D67EDD14-5646-000003AE0813AA30_zpsf7c4b3eb.jpg

So happy was I i immediately went for a get ride hoping the evil wind would be greatly reduced by the new screen of givi. I was wrong. It's bloody worse.

What the hell do I try next? Here's a comparison shot of old and new.

So off with the new, old back on, an whilst stomping off to launch tools into the garage I found the aprillia mirrors I ordered weeks ago so fitted them to make myself feel a bit better about the £89 piece of plastic that does fuck all for me now
