Just some good news from my case I mentioned under paddy's thread. Dvla took my father who is in hospital to court over the poxy V5 keeper change and the case was dropped. Despite my mum being armed with the evidence (she was representing) the court Usher mumbled with someone and dropped the case.

All good news, and a result.

However there was a couple under the exact same circumstances and they were lied to saying the court case will be a long time and the magistrates will question them why they didn't follow up with dvla; all from the court Usher! Tell the truth in court? Well they bloody don't!

I lost my bike entitlement in 2009 Laughing

DVLA must have my file by the wayside, every time they get bored, they change something.

What the heck? Is this a necessary action?

Dunno if its necessary. Had an old paper driving license and no photocard when I did CBT, updated to a photo one around that time.
