Sent my cbr 600f for an mot decided to replace both tyres with avon ultra 2s and I need to replace the rear brake pads, he's priced the whole thing at 280, I have no idea about labour charges or even how much a bike mot costs, so I wouldn't know if I'm being bumped or not?

Sounds pretty reasonable seeing as the tyres will be £200+

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

Yeah that sounds pretty standard. You could save yourself a tenner by doing the rear brake pads though.
