Anyone on here doing the Round Britain Rally this year?
https://www.roundbritainrally.co.uk/index1.htm
I have not done it before, but I am giving it a go. It'll be a good reason to visit places I would not otherwise.
Basically, the event is not a 'Rally' as such - you have to visit as many of the locations specified between the end of March and November. It is up to each entrant to plan their trips.
You need to take a picture of your bike + the Rally logo at each location. The locations are spread all over Britain, and points are awarded for each one visited.
If anyone else is doing it, we could use this thread to discuss progress and give help on finding locations, etc.
This is not Spam by the way, I have nothing to do with the rally, except for entering it! It costs £30. ____________________ 1998 Fireblade

I Been doing this for 10 years now, it's well worth doing as it gives you a reason to get out on the bike and get some miles in.
You don't have to do the whole thing, only about 15 - 20 people do it all, some just do the local ones which may be museums, visitor attractions etc so they spend the whole day at them.
We do have 3 get-together's each year for some socializing (well I think we do as I can't remember them )
Give it a go, You do as much or as little as you want nobody puts pressure on you to get it all done and the forum is as much a reason to join in as the rally itself!
