I don't have any brand loyalty, but I've chosen more Kawasakis than any other one brand. My favourite bike was my 1963 AJS M16.

I don't think I have a favourite make having owned, 2 Hondas, 3 Suzukis, 2 Kawasakis, 1 Yamaha and 1 MZ., though if I had to choose I would say Kawasaki.

Also my favourite bike I have owned is my current bike, a Kawasaki GPZ500S.

I seem to have developed a Triumph habit over the past few years, I just love the way the triples feel, but when the Blackbird comes next month I going to have to get rid of the S3.

I would probably have to say my 954 as it's my second. But to be cheesy I'd also say the bike I will own next. Wink

They are soooo nice, better than any of the new 05 bikes which all look the same (cept for Josh's 04 GSXR600, that's sweet Cool )

I am thinking bout the 929 when my insurance decreases enough to warrant one. Can't be fecked to spend stupid money on insurance any more so will just wait a while before can get one. That's if I don't waste all my cash on an 04 KTM 525 EXC and some talon/excels Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

954blade? Never ever said I want a 954 blade, 929 looks nicer

thundercat? Still on my list, waiting to sell R6 before deciding

929blade? note the "one day" in my post, then immediately after saying "when I can afford the insurance" Rolling Eyes

firestorm? Still on my list, I've seen one I quite like at a decent price too

ktm 525 ecx? Yup next year, selling WR for one, but they are £5k so I'm still saving...

husaberg? Nah didn't buy the one I was looking at, it sold for too much

cbr600rr? that was way before I even had the WR and was considering it, things have changed since then

another zxr400? Never said I *actually* want another ZXR, but have said on a few occasions that the ZXR was best sports bike I've owned.

Note the "one day" not the "next bike" by the way there are a lot of bikes to chose from Razz I'd be worried if someone had 1 bike in mind and 1 bike only. I can't live without 2 bikes Laughing supermoto's rule, but are crap for long distance Laughing

I can give you pros and cons for all bikes on my current "next bike" list (only 3 on that list anyway)

p.s. look back months in the posts for the last "favourite" bike thread and you'll see I said my "FAVOURITE" key word favourite here... bike is the 929 blade and I even posted the exact same picture Smile

OK not as old as I thought, but back in October

https://www.bikechatforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=35288&highlight=blade

Thanks dean for backing up the fact that there are millions of bikes out there that can all go on ones consideration for next bike list Razz

Funny how all bikes on my list are reasonable too, the sports bikes are under £3k except for the 929. Ignore the supermotos as they are on a different list Laughing

Funny how that post is a KTM 525 EXC and a 929 blade Laughing

Next, something "old" (but newer), "cheap", bigger and Honda.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

How much spanner work to fit the front end and rear wheel? New yokes at least, I assume?
