Hi guys been a while since I have posted.

Anyone going to the BSB at Brands Hatch this weekend? I'm tempted as it's only £20 a ticket for race day. (I'd camp but the GF is having none of it).

Are there plenty of places to watch from? Can you see much of the action?

It's going to be bloody cold so it has to be worth it Smile

Cheers

Brands is the best track for viewing in the UK IMO. I haven't been to many but everyone else says the same. There are places you can see a hell of a lot of track from. I suggest the inner part on the slope just past the hairpin at the top.

Going, but in the car Sad

It's £31 on race-day mate, not £20. Think it was £25 pre-book but pre-booking is closed now.

It's the Indy circuit so you can see them most of the lap - not like the GP where they head out into the woods and disappear for a couple of minutes at a time. Personally I tend to stick to Druids Infield as you can see pretty much the top of Paddock Hill bend, the straight up to Druids, round Druids and into Graham Hill before you lose them as they head off up towards Surtees.

Aye, Druids infield Smile It has been slightly ruined now though, by the safety fencing they've put up on the run up to Druids - you used to be able to get really close to the action there, and get fantastic photos.

Also, the bit round the back as if they are heading off round the woods but don't. That long straight, you can get pretty close to the bikes there.

Cheers for the replies guys, sounds like it's worth going up on the Sunday. £31 for race day is still not a bad price couldn't even spend all day in the pub for that so can't complain. Smile

I am still waiting to buy my next bike (just can't decide what to get) so will be driving up also.

Was a good day out, albeit a little cold in places.

Nice shots. Although from here they all look to be very slightly underexposed.

Try Oulton park. You can see 3/4 of from most of the main viewing points apart from the straight, the racing is fantastic and the elevation change and variety of corners make for good viewing.

I have been to Oulton a few times. It is good but not as good as Brands. Wink
