Just gave it a proper(ish) clean (Fecking Salt) and finally took some pics of it Mr. Green

If you want to fill in the cobwebbing (like in picture 2), use some Autoglym Super Resin Polish. It'll give it that extra bit of shine. Smile


On my Fiesta that has light cobwebbing (previous owner Rolling Eyes )I use:

Autoglym SRP
Poor Boys Black Hole
Poor Boys Natty Paste (red)

I find the combination works really well without going down the machine polishing route.

It tells me going down my private road Rolling Eyes that it is doing 80ish and the Speedo is bang on according my phone GPS.

Its mainly the lack of wind protection making it feel alot faster.

its got the same engine as the Aprilla RS4 125 4T Smile

lol I hate cleaning wheels Laughing I would have a gleaming bike but wrecked wheels if it was up to me so I grudgingly clean them (Sort of)

Don't need to scrub - just spray some WD40 on a rag and give them a good wipe - couple of minutes tops an works wonders on mine, brings chain lube, salt, mud off no probs.

+1 for WD40 on the wheels. Use it all the time myself, and has so far kept my el cheapo wheels pinging shiny throughout winter Smile Better than any 'bike cleaning' type product Thumbs Up

Paraffin is cheaper and very good at removing spots of tar too (If the roads ever get warm enough).

Tell ya what else would help, clean them 'orrible looking red and white square things off.... Would look much nicer then. Be more aerodynamic too so might hit 85-90. Thumbs Up

yep I want them off, thinking of selling my bike for about 1500 doing A2 and buying a £500 shitter.

or ride it for a year or so and save up the £600 to do it

Went for a razz on the A2 the other night and got pepper dashed by the grit lorry even tho I was at a decent distance!
