I'm going to Worcester for the weekend soon - does anyone know where I can leave the bike from fri-sun? I will be staying in the Travelodge near to the cathedral, there is an NCP car park next to the hotel but I don't fancy paying nearly £20 to park there. Can anyone help?

Probably my choice would be St. Martins gate car park as its a multi storey. They lock all the floors above the ground floor over night, but it does have CCTV and lighting in it should be as safe as any other I would guess.
It'd be nice if you knew you weren't going to use it over night if you could leave it in the locked bit but I don't think theres a motorbike bit there. I think the only motorbike parking is on the ground floor, and you'd probably need a ticket to park in a normal space, I'm pretty sure its free in the motorbike bit.

I'm actually heading into town now and I park there so I'll have a look at what it says.

The Travelodge or the Talbot may do a deal on the NCP. Otherwise, as mentioned, ST Martin's gate. There is also an independent garage opposite St Martin's where they lock the compound 7-7. They're open to deals and wouldn't mind you tucking a bike away in the corner for the weekend; it costs £3 to park a car all day there.

If you get really stuck you can park it at mine (depending on dates) for free but I'm a half hours walk from the Travelodge.

Thanks for the replies gents. I think St Martins will be a good bet as I'll be leaving the bike and going drinking for the weekend. However, if there's any more snow I think I might take the train..

I am also looking for somewhere to store the bike in Worcester as i will be down with work a bit this year and would rather take the bike.

I spoke to the attendant at the ncp by the travel lodge and he said that you can park bikes there but you have to pay the same as a car.

if you are staying wither the Talbot or the travel lodge (travel lodge will reduce it to £9 )

did you go in the end whitmorereans ? if so where did you park ?
