What Ho me ole Tutti Fruities !!
I'm spending a long weekend over on the Isle of Wight in a few weeks and was wondering if there are any "Must Ride" roads down that way.
Would I be right in thinking that there are bugger all dual carriageways (never mind motorways) on the island?

Do any locals have some hidden fantastic biker roads they'd like to pass on? Cool
They have at least two dual carriageways, one is over 200 metres long.

Nice roads, nice olde worlde views once out of Newport, but can be very very bumpy.

Military road, on the southern coast, is a 100mph road , apart from the bridge with the flowers where the motorbike didn't make it round the bend. There are lots of twisty sunken lanes too though.

Military road is full of win.

I was clocking 100mph+ on a 33bhp restricted GS500F.

Stop off for some lunch at the Cafe by the sea in Ventnor. They do awesome bacon baugettes and a huge ass burger called the "big boy". Cafe is next to another unmissable road: https://goo.gl/maps/hkaXc

I fancy going again but You need about £20 for fuel there, 100 mile ride, then a tank on the island, cover it from 11 till 5 then ride 100 miles back at £20, that's after the £32 return ticket. So really, with food, £100 for me.

I'd probably be up for that in the summer, but I'd be taking the deathtrap? I'd have another three riders also wanting to join. If you wanted to go as a group?

Thumbs Up
