I've left my key in my bike in the back garden the last 5 times I've been out on it Luckily, Mr Yaigi comes in after me, and usually greets me with a "Where are your bike keys ma lady?" ____________________ What would you do in life, if you knew you could not fail?

I'm forever leaving my keys where I shouldn't.
In the ignition, swinging from the seat lock- outside the house & in the middle of a shopping centre in London . . on the floor all night next to the bike.
On the floor next to the bike at Mayday couple years back.
(Nice biker caught me up and returned them. )
Just this morning I left my flat thinking the keys to my daily hack were in my jacket pocket from yesterday . . . only to find them tucked into the door handle by my helpful neighbour who must have found them on the floor somewhere between my garage and my flat. ____________________ You only get one lap of lifes track . . . . so make it a fast one !

At least I'm not alone
I usually have the keys in my pocket, the ignition is in the side panel and doesn't lock in place, so i switch on and put them in my pocket, and vice versa for turning off. Guess i just put them down while throwing the cover over
Many times I've left for work to find my front door keys hanging out of the front door ____________________ 1980 Honda H100A, Cafe racer. (SOLD)

Left keys in the ignition over night in a rough area. Still there the next day.
Most embarresing time loosing them tho, was when i spent an hour looking outside thinking where the hell are the keys. Looked under cars, looked inside.. Left them in the sodding seat lock |

Have done it on my Hornet once. It's usually when I break my routine. On my NSR is was when I had to lift the seat. Numerous times I left it hanging there from the seat lock in the middle of town and it's been there when I've got back.

Thank goodness it's not just me. This thread has just made me feel massively better about the times I've done the same thing. Ignition and seat lock, I've done both. Last week I left the key in the ignition while I did a 12 hour shift at work. Luckily it was in a secure shed that's full of bikes and bicycles. I was still panicked when I realised what I'd done late on. We are a set of pillock aren't we? ____________________ Responsibility. It's a difficult reality for some.
