I hate these vigilante p[ush bike riders, the van maybe should have given the push bike more room, but the push bike was all over the road, at first I thout it was a motorbike with it's early road position that could go either way as he was in the middle, not somewhere for a push bike.
But if someones threat is " You will be on Youtube" they need a good slap anyway.

Forgive me for being stupid but why is the cyclist in the wrong?
He has just as much right to be on the road as a car and he was in the right lane to go straight ahead the man in the van was just being very impatient driving in the hatched lines which he shouldn't have been never mind overtaking so close to an island when he could have just waited 5 seconds?!

He's in the middle of his lane (as legally entitled to) in order to take the right hand lane at the roundabout to go straight on.

The van pushes past him just before the traffic island, similar to a car driver pulling to the white line as you're filtering.

Staying left through the traffic island is only going to invite people pushing through a very small gap that could result in him being knocked off.


Perhaps the cyclist's rear observations could have been better, see the van coming out onto the chevrons to overtake and brake to allow the overtake to continue (with the driver's attitude it was going to happen anyway) so that it wasn't as close and let the driver get on with it.

I cycle, drive and ride so experience it from all angles. I take the same road position on my pushbikes as I do the motorbike, unless I'm being caught by traffic, at which point, like many others, I pull left to allow traffic past when it is safe.

The approach to a roundabout I wish to turn right on or go straight ahead is not a safe place to do so.

It's quite funny really "you're not going straight ahead you're going right YOU CUNT" then chases him round the roundabout.


I was kinda 50/50 the van was a little impatient, the cyclist made it out to be a lot worse then it was but the van driver lost is temper pretty easily and made himself look a little silly.

However after watching some of the cyclists other videos I'm siding with the van driver, he is a cunt.
