Popped to the dealer just to check and it's still ugly as sin in the flesh.

Sick

Because the link's broken? Laughing

It's like someone's hit the front of it with an axe!

The Repsol scheme is quite kind to it IMO.

Ninja repost.

The one I saw also had the stupid California reflectors on the side. Any idea if they're no required in the UK??

I'm not trolling, honest. But that's the first Honda that I really, really want. Wouldn't it be great if I bagged a test ride? I'm going to ask.

Nah, I followed the source of the image to view it. Looks much better in Repsol than that other colour scheme though.

I didn't like the SP1 when it first came out, now it's good looking. I reckon this'll be a grower.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

SP1 is good looking with one endurance style headlight. Or in white. Thumbs Up

(Yes I know white was SP2 only Honda geeks. Razz )

Damn you! Laughing

I quite like the headlight design, what's the riding position like?
Would fancy a test ride after my restriction period is over.
I'm still fairly green when it comes to riding my SV, so right now it's purely the weight that troubles me, so with that is mind it puts me off these new bikes.
Most of these 500 are heavier than my SV Confused

I think it looks alright.

Still the 03 Model I think is the hottest of the CBR's.

Far better looking sport bikes non-honda though Razz

07 onwards CBR in Ten Kate colours floats my boat. I'll see if I can get my local Honda dealer to let me out for a spin tomorrow. Riding position seems broadly similar to the outgoing CBR600RR. BPF on it, and new plastics. All else is as you were.

Stupidly low standard screen of course. Looks like it'll just turbo charge the windblast into your chest.

i'm probably the biggest 600rr whore on here and very much approve of this new model. Wasnt sure about the 07-12 models as i've never been a fan of the minimal bikini type fairings, so am glad they have gone back to the maximum plastic style Laughing .

The best view of this bike is from the side though

Even though the sides are mismatched?

There's a cover on the near side that covers the back of the generator/stator. Whilst on the offside the clutch cover is bare. I assume so you can fill it with oil more easily.

However as we know assymetrical bikes don't work. See the BMW S1000RR squint.

Thing is though, the 600rr looks symmetrical from wherever you are stood, you will not see the left and right side together at the same time so it wont look out of place. Where as the S1000rr just looks like its permanently confused
