I need a satnav for a journey. I have an aprilia rs50 and due to the sporty frame i'm not sure how I would fit one.
can somebody please help me with accessories? how to fit it? and which one to buy,
many thanks

Smart phone, tank bag. Job done! You're going to be talking silly money for top yoke RAM mounts and cradle, on top of the price of your sat nav!

Most people just mount a car sat nav in a tank bag or waterproof pouch. I prefer it old school though, map in map pocket, OR A5 sheet of paper sellotaped into tank showing waypoints of towns and road numbers.

yeah I understand where you're both coming from with the maps but trust me, map skills has never been my strong point.
would a cheaper car satnav work? could I mount it somewhere and put it in a waterproof case?

I have used my phone once or twice, put a headphone in and it talks through the instructions to you, then your free to look at the road.

What phone do you have?

And a car satnav will work but will need to be made waterproof, so as suggested, a tankbag will do.

Ah a shitberry!

I used to have one, pretty bad phones when you want do something more then text/bbm/call lol Wink

No, you wont have much luck with a satnav that you could get on an andriod/iphone. The 'maps' feature is pretty bad to say the least on bb's. Thumbs Down

yeah its awful. had it for a year and its one thing going wrong after another. they are falling behind Samsung and all over smartphone manufacturers. I may buy a cheap car sat nav and a tank bag. thanks for the advice.
