I've got a stack of ZZR600 bits that I'm working on putting on e-bay but I can't quite get my head around posting the large bulky bits.

Any advice on posting a fairing welcome please, especially if you know what the cost might be.

Thanks

When i sold a fairing off my old er 6f i wrapped it in bubble wrap till it was completely covered, stuck most of it in a padded envelope thing and the rest got more bubble wrap and brown tape. I took it down the post office and sent it 1st class, no hassle at all (except a couple of comments and weird looks) and got from Somerset to the west midlands and from there to Poland in one piece.

I've bought a few fairings on eBay, they've all arrived in the condition they left in.

One box was nearly ripped in two but the fairing was in good knick.
Though it came with a cheeky letter from DHL saying my package was inappropriately packaged and advised me to improve packaging if I was to send items in the future. They delivered it in an 'as seen' condition and to contact them if I was not satisfied.

I didn't post it to myself! They should've sent that snotty letter to the sender not the recipient of the dodgy delivery.

Look on eBay for what other fairings have for p&p.

Depends on the fairing, but often go in the post/courier is fine.

Wrap well with some screwed up newspaper or similar to fill out the gaps.
Not sure adding 'fragile' actually helps, but I'd risk adding it (risking that someone will decide to kick it extra hard).

If you're going for cheap, consider myhermes or collect plus.
I use myhermes and it's been ok for me, though others have issues.
Take it a parcel collection shop if you can to save hassle and money.

There's a code for 25% off when you sign up to myhermes around.

I've put it on as collection only with possible delivery in Greater Manchester area so a wide enough area for potential bidders

collect plus.. you wrap it seal it do what ever pay for it on line drop it at the local shop and it gets picked up £7 for a set of leathers so a fairing is not going to be that heavy ,,,
it really is that simple hardest bit is finding big cardboard to protect the thing you are shifting .https://www.collectplus.co.uk/

Try www.interparcel.com or www.parcel2go.com

I always use them, but normally make out the parcel is smaller than what it actually is Wink
