Bernie's in Aldershot are a good bike breakers...I don't have his number anymore (long time since I lived over that way), but I'm sure you could find on google - however, don't forget BCF's very own G !

Not sure if he's in need - but you could always ask... Thumbs Up

Thanks Clanger. How does it work? Do they collect?

I guess someone around London would be better.

I think you'll find Paddy buys bikes that work and then breaks them...as opposed to being a bike breaker in the traditional sense Laughing

Love you really bodgemaster... Mr. Green

Afraid I'm a bit far/broke at the moment.

I'd just stick it on ebay in a 'spares' section (99p no reserve auction is free) and on gumtree etc - it's quite likely that any local breakers will keep an eye on these.
But you may well find someone willing to offer more than a breaker who has all sorts of outgoings to consider.

A bike's never going to be worth it for scrap value at a scrap metal yard obviously- the best you'll get is likely around £40 for something pretty heavy like a big BMW, say.

Thanks guys. I may have to take pics and advertise on Gumtree. I would make more money breaking it myself but I don't have the time to do that and get constant calls.

I am not sure on a price. Is it fair to ask for an offer?

Here are pics of the damage, you may not even want it after seeing the pics. LOL.

It will come with a use standard Kawasaki screen and a an extra hump that replaces the pillion seat. The speedo unit will also be given along with V5 and MOT sheets etc...

Crack on the frame.

Looks OK here. Exhaust is loose because I took out my Blue Flame for insurance purposes.

Not sure if forks are bent or not. I didn't have a proper look today. Infact since my crash I have not looked at my bike at all really.

Not sure why img bb code doesn't work.

Heated grips still on there and a Meta alarm. Not used the bike in over a year though.

I might be interested in the forks/brake calipers. Would you be up for parting it out?

If the forks are straight and the frame can be safely ally-welded then it could be a pretty sound streetfighter/stunt bike project. It's only the frame that's really concerning imo...not that I need another 6r Wink

OK I just checked the forks. They are most certainly bent. I should have checked when I took the pictures but as said, I didn't even look at my bike after my crash until a few days a go and even then, I had to go somewhere so it was rushed. The wheels veer to the left and quite a lot in my eyes.

Sorry to waste some of your time.

Selling as a whole preferred and for parts.
