£150 for a 2007 cbf500

I turn up to work one morning and someone says to me, "do you know the company has 3 bikes. 1 of them is for sale at around £400." After a long conversation about the bike, i asked if i could go down to London and collect it thinking its going to be in a right state and not run. So i bring it back to my house, charge it up and it starts 1st time. At this point im thinking.. fuck..yes... I gave it a good going over making a list of the things it needs doing to get it to a good standard. The following day i go back into work and say all the things that it needs, and offer them 300 quid. The financial bloke says how about £250 with a smile. i accept thinking this couldn't get any better. i come into work today and he says, you picked the bike up yourself didn't you, call it £150 for the hassle. i'm stood there.. say nothing... think about what just happened and said.. ok.. All i need to get done is fix the rad to get it passed MOT
