He's pleading guilty to causing death by dangerous driving, killing a couple on a tandem.

But if he'd have killed two people on a motorbike, "sorry I didn't see 'em" 200 hours unpaid work and he'd be off scot free.

While I agree, when it comes to the law, dangerous refers to the manor of your driving being dangerous (Out of control, or close to it). If you cause an accident pulling out at 2 mph its because you didn't see whatever you hit, which is careless driving, rather than dangerous.

The drivers still a tit who shouldn't be on the road, either way
