looking at getting a 125 next month but cant decide what to get. I have 2 which I like.

The first one is Honda Varadero 125 2007 onwards.
The second one is Debi terra 125 adventure or the normal one. 2008 onwards.

Would like your thoughts on these bike or could you recommend any other 125 bike.

thanks

Generally I'd say go for the Honda over those two.

End of the day, it'll probably be fine no matter what you get, though you do see a lot of good things written about the varadero's.

Any others?

My XR 125? Wink

Out the two its the Honda every time.

I learnt on a Yamaha YBR125 and I couldn't fault it. Was reliable, easy to ride and I sold it for more than I paid so in effect didnt cost me a penny. Cant grumble at that really.

At the end of the day you probably wont keep your 125cc bike long so it doesnt really matter which one you choose as long as its reliable.

Heh, I forgot the inner leg.

You'll be on it for 2 years, so if you can get on with the height, I'd go with the Varadero. They're proper bikes that happen to have a (nice) 125 engine. In that price range, it won't depreciate much either.

Whats the price of them both?

I really quite like the Terra Adventure if I am honest. Looks a bit less dorky than than the Vara Razz

I had a Varadero, '02 model though. Was awesome, reasonably poky and big enough you have decent road presence and height to see well ahead when filtering.

But it is just the look, and you pay a premium for it. Varadero on the other hand you get a genuinely high spec (by 125 standards) bike with a realistic 70mph top end.
