All the same, do you know what hiking/wild camping is like in South Africa - is it too dangerous to do as a hobby? If I lived in a country that had incredible wilderness but in which I couldn't go hiking and camping I would be terribly frustrated.

Thing is, there is so much sun, you get to realise after a while that its smarter to stay out of it.

(type "skin cancer" into Google or Bing, see what comes up, looking at it on the internet is bad enough, but it soon puts you off going in the sun when you have to see it on your loved ones)
