Wondering if there are alternative places to get TomTom SatNav maps from? Am interested in getting 'western Europe' maps on to my Tom Tom Start, but at £50 through the TomTom website doesn't seem very attractive.

https://www.navitotal.com/index.php is the best resource.

Follow the tutorials on there, it's not quite as simple as just downloading them and putting them on it, but it's not too far off.

It's naughty too, but you probably know that.

Well I was trying to find a disc or something on Ebay, would be happy paying say £15 or so but £50? Don't think I paid that for the SatNav itself...

If you've got an android phone you can dl tt for free. and you get lifetime maps as well. Just done this last week. One reason why I swapped my iPhone.

That's what I found too.
I'd happily update my device from the TomTom website but £50 seems extortionate to me.
