As of 3pm today I am a fully qualified rider, and to my surprise I passed with zero minors as well! To say I'm over the moon is an understatement, just need to get a little more grounded for buying a bike...

Thanks!

I've set my sights on getting an SV650, been watching a fair few on eBay and Gumtree the past couple of months to get a feel for prices and what to expect. Hope to take a friend (and fellow biker) out to look at a few soon.

Nice one, no minors is pretty impressive.

Full fat license or semi-skimmed?

Full fat license. My county council also subsidises an enhanced rider scheme, so once I pick up a bike I'll go along for a few lessons.

Congratulations! It really does feel great! I have ummed and ahhed for months over what will be my first bike, but always come back to the SV. If money were no object I'd probably get a Triumph Daytona 675...

Pretty much the same as me. Last 3 months iv been looking at SV650s, yz6, and daytona 600s. Would love the daytona but my sheds tiny and i would end up scratching the fairings and the insurance is a fair bit more. The place i did my training at was on top of a triumph/yamaha dealer so i had to walk past brand new daytona 675s and street tripple Rs everyday!
