eBike offers me the exact same couple of £££ off regardless of whether I put BikeSafe, IAM or RoSPA. I'm not even sure that they listed Enhanced Rider. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

Ah, fair dos, here's the current list:

California Superbike School Level 3
California Superbike School Level 4
Driving Standards Agency: Examiners Motorcycle Test
DSA Certificate of Competence - Enhanced Rider Bonus
MCN - Total Confidence Training
RoSPA - Silver
Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents: Motorcycle Test Gold Standard
The Edge
The Institute of Advanced Motorists: Motorcycle Test
Vision Advanced Rider Training Qualifications: Gold Standard |
No RoSPA bronze, but they do list Bike Safe, which is "turn up, eat biscuits, get a You Attended This Attendance Certificate".
Actually, I didn't even get a bit of paper, so I don't bother listing it. The premium difference for me (40, clean everything) is minimal anyway. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

I'll have to look next time I renew. I think the only real difference, other than location, is that I've had a full licence since the 80's. I can't understand how that might affect the bonus though? I have also completed the IAM but the discount was significantly less if I use that instead of the ERS. ____________________ https://www.metacafe.com/watch/1972097/how_to_behave_on_a_forum/ |
