Love the Daytona, especially the SE. Pretty sure it will be my next bike (also have a STriple at the mo). Looks very tidy too Thumbs Up

Absolutely gorgeous... I test rode a Daytona 675 last year and refused to get off it for two hours! It will certainly be my next bike.

I noticed one at the Oakdene on Wednesday evening as well, but the '12 plated bike was blue, the same colour as the frame in the pics shown by the OP.

Looked nice, but not as nice as the all black that a friend's son has just sold so that he can emigrate to Oz.

Gorgeous bikes and I like the sound too, how do you get on with the size of it? My older Daytona makes them look tiny but I'm thinking my next bike will have the 675 engine.

Cheers.

Fitted a tail tidy and I also ordered a smaller plate as 'legal' are like windsails.

Also fitted my MWR HE Air filter that I removed from the Striple.

No worries. No I've not had any problems with it what so ever. I had a slight issue with my street triple that I had prior to this and that was a faulty reg/rec which is a common problem on the older models (Although it is now sorted for free) so if you buy a pre 09?'ish phone up the dealer and ask if the bike has any out standing recalls, if it does then they'll swap the reg/rec over free of charge.

Apart from the reg/rec the only other thing to check is the exup valve in the exhaust. They do fail and can cause issues, mine failed on a trackday bringing it to an end earlier than I'd have liked.

It's not a huge problem, I just took mine off.

Great bikes though, I've got an 08 and I love it.

Actually, some early 675s did a bit. Not lots but maybe 1l between service intervals. Check it weekly.

When I sell my r6 at the end of the summer, I will be getting one of these.

The white and blue is probably my favourite, although I do like the orange too.
