Except he doesn't.

If this happened in my garden, I'd laugh it off. I'd mock the fair weather rider's bad riding. It would be a joke to tell the lads at the pub.

I say that not as a biker, but someone with a sense of humour.

This guy instead wants his five minutes and wants to play the victim. That's what's wrong with this country. Everyone wants to play the victim. Look at his lame video and the manufactured "peril" his children were (weren't) in. This guy needs to get out of his cosy little coastal retreat and see the real dangers children face on this planet - starving children, homeless children, etc.

Fair enough if someone got hurt or something got damaged. Then all hell breaks loose. But involving the police over that? Jesus, what a joker.

The children on the swings have the right attitude: "meh!"

PS: if anyone thinks I am that biker, obviously not. I wouldn't be stupid enough to post this thread if I was.

PSS: biker is lucky the gate was open!

PSSS I love how he is being pursued for careless driving, when I was knocked off my bike - complete write off - the courts found the driver 100% at fault. No sniff of interest from the police in pursuing the driver for careless driving in that instance.. I suppose here in Norfolk a rich man's lawn is more important than the risk to a jo soaps life

And the fact he left the gate OPEN on (what looks like) a busy road, how negligent!

I see there is no 'comment' section of that webtripe.

I think maybe a story should be 'submitted' the editor in long trousers about a similarly prioritized incident involving a car that drove into a place where they store thousands of gallons of PETROL and parked ON TOP OF THE TANK for a while, all while oblivious to the massive danger unfolding .... na na na na nlisdkjfnmlvdsmln skjdfkjdf dfdf

I've surpassed myself here. Bounce!

I ride along that sort of coastal area quite a lot.

On a sunny day the bike traffic is high and as the area is mainly old people or wealthy second home owners it is always going to be anti bikers.
This was probably the final straw for him, I bet he's already complained to anybody that will listen about speeding and noise. Somebody riding down his drive is probably the biggest event in his life for the last 20 years.

From the two cameras you can't tell how long the drive is, it might be half a mile long and the bike simply carried on down to the grass area to turn around, which does take the piss a little but is hardly dangerous. By the time he gets to the bit where the kids were he's going no faster then a delivery van would be if delivering to the house.
The leathers don't look very distinctive, just like any other power ranger one piece.

Good old EDP Laughing a man hunt for a man turning around in somebodies garden. Lets catch this vicious bastard.

What a story.. Norfolk Police can be proud of their brilliant minds. Clearly when the rider realized he was on the private property he turned around and left.

I see no careless riding here.

Maybe he was just looking for some privacy to take a dump and he found himself in somebody's garden not a green lane he was hoping for Laughing

Did you see the end? "Our children were just playing here" then they add "12minutes before this occured"

careless driving?

Well i have footage on my go pro of at least 500 car drives committing careless driving offences and all footage has number plates and dates when it happened?

Should i go to the police with this information?

I did not realize that such minor offences were being cracked down on.

The last time i got knocked off my bike by a car driver and was not injured the Police informed me it was a Civil matter only even though the car driver failed to stop and left me laying in the middle of the road with the motorbike on top of me.

I almost ran over some children today.

They crossed the road just 12 minutes before i rode past the very piece of road they crossed on.

I'm going to hand myself in to the police tomorrow...i just don't think i'm a safe enough rider.

Oh...and all the children were carrying a box of kittens each.

to be fair the gate should have been closed! glad everything was okay though ... would hate the thought that a child could of been hurt or even killed! but I am glad the only injured party was the rider and his ego lol

This is why more people should own dualsports. Then you can ride into people's gardens all you want and pass it off as taking a wrong turn by accident and nobody questions it. Razz

No one was ever in any danger all the biker was doing was running off, I'm sure if a child had come up in front of him he would have taken evasive action and had to deck the bike, as it was no one was there

Non story, I guess not much happens in Norfolk

To be fair, it does look like a pretty sharp corner, and with only one chevron sign, isn't particularly indicated as a sharp corner.

It's good that the guy leaves his gate open so people can use his driveway as a run off Laughing

If that is the place, to be fair to the rider, you can't even tell it's someone's crib.

Especially as the gate was wide open, making it look like a country track.
Strange how it was closed when the police car arrived though...

I probably wouldn't leave it wide open in the first place - not on a bend like that.
If it's left open to make it safer to get in to the driveway then I'd seriously consider moving the gate a few feet down the drive.

Whether he chooses to open or close his gate is irrelevant and up to him. The story is a mountain out of a molehill whichever way you look at it.
