Road rager attacks cyclist

I can't understand the poor attitude towards cyclists, but if a biker does it then its fair game? Am sorry but imagine riding a push bike day in day out almost getting twatted off the thing relentlessly for every min your in the saddle, everyone treating you like a massive cunt because you choose to cycle instead of sit in traffic wasting money on unused fuel, insurance and tax. Granted there are a few bad eggs, just like bikers, just like bus drivers etc but that doesn't mean you should call all of them, the camera thing is fair game too, if something happens you have proof but unfortunatly the law is so piss poor even that doesn't stand up so imagine not having a camera to begin with?

I'm sorry but I just don't get it... I cycle on the pavement because I'm scared I might get involved in something like this because a driver is having a bad day or cannot control his 12yr old mentality with its temper.

IMHO the difference is where as a two-wheeled pilot you can get away from a potential situation quickly (ie you have an engine) or if you don't you'd better not be out of puff enough to whack someone back sharpish.

On my pushbike I'm far more placid, I tend to just roll away.

And also I don't have a frikkin HORN on my pushbike.

Usual crap blaming cyclists even when the stats tell a different story. For what its worth (nothing at all) I think cabbies & motorcyclists are the worst road users. Just today I saw a motorcycle courier ignore a red light & nearly take out a bunch of cyclists, & a cab nearly pull out infront of a cyclist calling him a wanker in the process
