I love 'good' technology and this is a great idea that I have recently subscribed to, though there is also a free service too!

What is nice is that one can schedule reminders just for one's self or for the recipient too and it can be done from anywhere an email can be sent i.e a mobile phone.

Give it a go. Send an email to 2minutes@followupthen.com and see what happens.

You could also have:
Time Interval
1minute@followupthen.com
2hours@followupthen.com
3days@followupthen.com
4weeks@followupthen.com
5months@followupthen.com
6years@followupthen.com

Day of Week
tuesday@followupthen.com

Common Scheduling Terms
tomorrow@followupthen.com
nextweek@followupthen.com
nextmonth@followupthen.com

Specific Date
mar30@followupthen.com
2010-05-30@followupthen.com

Specific Time
11am@followupthen.com
1132am@followupthen.com
1500@followupthen.com

Specific Date and Time
tomorrow9am@followupthen.com
12pmAug25@followupthen.com

Recurring Reminders
everywed@followupthen.com
everymar30@followupthen.com
every6amMar30@followupthen.com
every1st@followupthen.com
weekdays@followupthen.com
every15th@followupthen.com
every2ndThursday@followupthen.com

etc.

Interesting idea, probably quite good for people whose jobs involve sitting in front of a computer dealing with continuous emails all day.

Come to think of it... wtf do office workers do? That's the extent of their work, isn't it? Just reading and replying to emails and making the odd phone call.

Can anyone tell me what the big attraction is with the white collar work? Thinking

Sorry slight thread hijack Laughing

What's going to remind me to set a reminder to remind me of the thing I originally wanted reminding of??

Don't be so cynical. Would I SPAM after almost 1500 posts and when I clearly say that I subscribe???

I have nothing to do with this other than being a customer and happy to share my find.

If you don't like it, don't use it!

You send yourself, or a colleague a reminder email. It is not just an alarm.

Try the 2minute one, it is really cool. Thumbs Up

I think most people who need to use this would already be using something like Outlook, and have reminders, appointments and calendars. Or have a folder(s) marked "to action".

I do use outlook and an integrated CRM in my business but this enables me to set a reminder for, say, 11 months then 11 months and two weeks for both myself and a client to remind us both of an impending annual calibration service. Thumbs Up Smile

BCF accounts have been hacked before, which is what I thought had happened here.
