So me and my flat mate need to go shopping.

I no longer have a car and taxis cost money, lots of money from the 24hr shop.

Thought we shall take the 125... Laughing

It got 2 people, about £60 worth of shopping and my flat mates 2 boxes of beer back without issue. I love this bike.

Nice, I've done the same with the trusty yamaha yzf r125; the only thing I'm lacking is a top box.

It does amuse/annoy me when people say "You cant take luggage on a bike."

Errrr what about the 5 days worth of Download equipment plus beer that I carried on my bike which doesn't have top box/panniers?? Evil or Very Mad

What about the 2 weeks worth of shopping I fit on EVERY TIME I GO SHOPPING? Evil or Very Mad

What about the time's I go home from uni and have to take the relevant clothes + laptop + life items etc etc. Evil or Very Mad

I don't like people sometimes.

I'd love a versatile work horse like that though. Just to see if I could load it up to the point that the bike just wont move Laughing

Use three bags to carry one load of good, and distribute the weight evenly between all of them.

Shame they don't make a 250 Varadero, I'm guessing it would make a bloody good bike.

Indeed, I think a slightly more powerful one would be ideal, must say though, it is one of the most reliable bikes I've owned.

Yeah, mirror stems, double bagged, both tied up. 1 inner ring and one outer ring over the stem then the remaining two looped and knotted together. Should the knot fail, it is backed up by the 2 over the stem.

Gives you time to pull over.

Brilliant! Laughing

I recently bought a new backpack to carry my shopping home in. Although it looks roughly the same size as my previous one, of which I had become quite an expert at judgeing how much I could fit in it, it soon became obvious that it had a smaller capacity when I got outside the shop to pack it.

After about 10 mins of re-arranging the contents it became obvious it wasn't going to fit, so I decided to put some items down the front of my jacket, which worked fine, until I got on the bike and due to the riding position of sports bikes and two crushed peppers and cheesecake later,it soon became evident that this was not such a good idea after all Sad

Double bag, even did a drop test with the shopping on, was all good.

Gym bag, in hindsight would have been good, but I wasn't intending to do such a big shop. Laughing
