so i had a low speed crash and my fairing bracket (this thing: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HONDA-CBF125-CBF-125-2009-2012-CLOCK-BRACKET-FAIRING-FRAME-GENUINE-PART-BREAKING-/151040080552?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts_13&hash=item232ab0baa8) has bent forcing all my speedo, fairing and nose cone to the right.

So.. my question is, should there be anything i should consider when taking off my speedo, nose cone and removing electrics etc etc and has anyone replaced this on a cbf 125 before? If so, would it be possible for u to give me like step-by-step instructions as i feel like i could fuck this up as i've neve taken off the nose cone on a faired bike before.

Thanks in advance, Az Very Happy

It's a total fucking nightmare with loads of tiny bits of plastic held together by plastic screws, plastic tags that WILL have snapped off if you have pranged it enough to have bent the subframe and well-nuts that will have seized.

Get a workshop manual which will contain instructions for disassembly. Take digital photos as you go.

it's like well hidden in there and would need be removed, heating up and bend back in to place in order to bend it, meaning it would have to come off anyway.
I couldn't do it with a mallet or hammer as there's no where enough room to do so. Sad

Thanks for ur reply anyway mate, all replys appreciated Thumbs Up
